The HAP FILM team · Sydney & Auckland
The HAP FILM team brings together wedding photographers, videographers, editors, drone operators and music professionals across Sydney and Auckland. Together, we combine cinematic storytelling, natural photography and cultural understanding so couples can feel relaxed while their day is captured with care.
Arash, our director, and Parvin, our photographer and editor, work between Australia and New Zealand. Meanwhile, our Auckland-based team provides local continuity for weddings, events and creative productions throughout New Zealand.
Who we are
A wedding team needs more than technical skill. Therefore, we focus on communication, timing and a calm approach as much as cameras and lighting. Our crew works together so photography, videography, drone coverage, audio and music can support the same story instead of competing for space.
In addition, our experience across Persian, Afghan, Assyrian, Indian, Pakistani, Middle Eastern, European and modern weddings helps us recognise the moments that matter. As a result, we can adapt quickly while still keeping the day natural and enjoyable.

“Hi, I’m Arash — the eye, the ear & the heart behind HAP FILM. I blend visual storytelling with technology and sound — so your photos, your film and your dance floor all feel like one story.”
Arash leads HAP FILM’s creative direction across photography, videography, audio and music. His background combines visual storytelling with technology, sales, marketing and production, which helps him see both the artistic and practical side of every event.
Because music is also a major part of his work, Arash pays close attention to timing, atmosphere and sound. He is involved in shooting, directing and post-production, while also helping couples plan a smooth visual experience from preparation through to the dance floor. As Arash Armand Music, he also performs Persian live music & DJ sets for weddings and events.

Parvin brings a patient, people-focused approach to wedding photography and editing. She has a strong eye for visual balance and detail, while her graphic design background supports the polished look of HAP FILM’s final galleries and creative work.
She is naturally social and comfortable around guests. Consequently, she helps create a relaxed atmosphere in front of the camera, especially during portraits, family photographs and the quieter parts of a wedding day.

Amir brings more than 10 years of photography experience to HAP FILM. He is also a professional drone operator, adding striking aerial perspectives of venues, locations and celebrations for suitable wedding and event coverage.
His personality is fun, easy-going and welcoming. Therefore, he connects naturally with many different types of clients and helps people feel comfortable during a shoot or event. That combination of technical experience and relaxed energy makes him a strong fit for the HAP FILM team.

Ayad is an Assyrian videographer and editor with more than 5 years of experience filming weddings and family celebrations. His deep cultural awareness, especially within the Assyrian community, helps him understand the traditions, music and emotional moments that matter most, and give them the space they deserve in the final film.
At the same time, his calm and professional manner makes him easy to work with on busy wedding days. He contributes both behind the camera and in post-production, helping HAP FILM create wedding films that feel personal rather than generic.

Hassan is an experienced Persian-Kiwi photographer and videographer with more than 40 years of international experience. He brings deep technical knowledge, a strong understanding of lighting and a patient approach to wedding and event coverage.
Furthermore, Hassan enjoys exploring new locations and creating carefully composed photographs. His experience is especially valuable for bridal portraits, engagement sessions and cultural weddings throughout Auckland and wider New Zealand.

Our approach is collaborative. Instead of treating photography, film, drone, audio and music as separate jobs, we plan how each part can support the wedding experience. This helps reduce interruptions and, more importantly, keeps the creative style consistent.
