What we do
HAP FILM is a Sydney wedding photographer and videographer team. We photograph and film your day side by side, so your gallery and your wedding film tell the same story — then add live music and DJ if you want the whole celebration handled by people who already know your timeline.

Meet the director
I'm Arash (Ash) Armand, director, photographer, videographer and the music behind HAP FILM. I blend visual storytelling with technology and sound — so your photos, your film and your dance floor all feel like one story.
I shoot, direct and edit, obsessing over timing, atmosphere and sound, and I love helping couples plan a day that flows beautifully on camera. Together with the HAP FILM team in Sydney and Auckland, we work across both countries — wherever your story takes us.

Do you offer both wedding photography and videography in Sydney?
Yes. HAP FILM provides wedding photography and wedding videography as one coordinated team across Sydney and NSW, so your photos and film share the same style and timeline. Live music, DJ and lighting can be added too.
Do you photograph Persian, Afghan, Indian and other cultural weddings?
Cultural weddings are our speciality — Persian, Assyrian, Afghan, Lebanese, Arabic, Indian, Pakistani, Turkish, Greek and Chaldean celebrations, Orthodox and Catholic church ceremonies, and multi-day events like Mehendi, Haldi and Sofreh Aghd.
Which areas of NSW do you travel to?
All of Greater Sydney — including Parramatta, Fairfield, Liverpool, Blacktown, Castle Hill and Penrith — plus Newcastle, the Hunter Valley, Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong, Southern Highlands and Port Stephens.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book 9–18 months ahead, especially for Saturdays in spring and summer. Send us your date and venue and we'll confirm availability quickly.
